Details

Charlotte Lukes is a well known environmental educator in Door County who, with her late husband, Roy Lukes, has been a dedicated advocate for the protection and conservation of Door County’s natural areas. They were inducted into the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame in 2018, and have received numerous awards in recognition of their environmental work from organizations including the Sierra Club, The Nature Conservancy, Door County Environmental Council, and the Wisconsin Society of Ornithology. https://wchf.org/roy-and-charlotte-lukes/
