Hello fellow flower and garden lovers!

The purpose of the Door Garden Club, Inc. is to appreciate, learn, share, and support the beauty, value, and conservation of plants, gardens, parks, and green spaces. This is accomplished by providing inspirational and educational programs and exhibitions; hosting fundraising events and social activities; and, awarding scholarships and grants for local students, organizations, and projects.

We are a new garden club that held its first monthly meeting and program in April 2023, and as of October 1, 2023, we are accepting members.  Anyone 18 and older who is interested in joining the club is welcome, and would do well to spend some time perusing the many pages of the desk- or laptop version of this website.  The desk- and laptop version is always better and contains more information than the smartphone and iPad versions.  It's also important to attend some of our meetings, educational programs, and activities to be able to experience firsthand what the club is about and appreciate what a garden club brings to a community.

The club is a work in progress, largely modeled using the template of other traditional garden clubs.  Our goal is to create a professional organization to host educational and inspirational events for members and the community to learn from and enjoy.  We'll be working together with other similar organizations in the community to further the club's purpose, and plan to have a lot of fun doing it!

More information about the club is available by clicking on the Membership option under the Membership tab here on our website. The password is 'compost'.

Thank you for your interest.  Please don't hesitate to Contact Us if you have questions.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

With kind regards,

Sonja Durkee
